Fan at Tottenham, West Ham United match invades pitch to take free kick

Tottenham Hotspur's 1-0 win against West Ham United is overshadowed by a supporter invading the pitch and taking a free kick.

Tottenham Hotspur's dramatic 1-0 win at West Ham United was interrupted by a pitch invader who took Christian Eriksen's free kick.

Stewards failed to tackle the intruder who ran on to the pitch and hoofed the ball towards goal, which forced West Ham stopper Adrian to move to his left to prevent the ball finding the top corner.

Eriksen was stood over the free kick in the 63rd minute but he was interrupted as the referee blew his whistle.

Tottenham eventually won the match 1-0 after a 90th-minute winner from Eric Dier at Upton Park.

Both Kyle Naughton (handball) and James Collins (second yellow) were sent off during the match as Mauricio Pochettino earned his first win as Spurs manager.
