Former Manchester United star Roy Keane has reportedly taken legal action against bookmaker Paddy Power after his image was used on a billboard.
The 43-year-old, who works as Republic of Ireland's assistant coach, was mocked up as William Wallace from film Braveheart on the billboard prior to Ireland's Euro 2016 qualifier against Scotland last month.
Alongside an image of Keane, Paddy Power included the line, 'you may take our points but at least we have our freedom (ya wee pussies),' in reference to Scotland's rejected independence referendum.
According to the Irish Times, Keane has argued that the bookmaker breached image rights when the former footballer's face was used on the billboard, which was placed on the side of a truck positioned close to the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
A High Court suit was filed against Paddy Power on Monday.
