Real Madrid have reportedly removed the cross from their club crest in a deal with the National Bank of Abu Dhabi to appease their Muslim fans.
The Spanish giants struck a three-year partnership with the bank in September, but it has now emerged that a new credit card, which is also used as a Madrid membership card, displays the club's badge without the cross.
According to Marca, the cross, which is deemed a Christian symbol, will not feature on the product in the United Arab Emirates in order to avoid offending Muslim customers.
Gareth Bale, Toni Kroos, Karim Benzema and Dani Carvajal were all present during the credit card unveiling last week.
