Former Pakistan cricket captain Wasim Akram has been left unhurt after being allegedly targeted by a gunman during a road-rage incident.
The 49-year-old is said to have been travelling to Karachi's National Stadium to coach a training camp when a man allegedly slammed his car into the back of the former sportsman's vehicle.
The man is then believed to have pulled out a gun and began shooting before fleeing the scene.
"It is apparently an incident of road rage," PA quotes Akram as saying. "I have no enmity with anyone. If he can do this to me, what will he do to the common man?"
At the time of the incident on Wednesday, police were searching for the gunman.
