A gym in Austin, Texas has removed disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong's name from their brand following revelations of the American's doping past.

The 41-year-old has been stripped of his record seven Tour de France titles after the United States Anti-Doping Agency released a report providing evidence of years of drug-taking to improve the cyclist's performance at the height of his career.

Following the revelations, several sponsors have cut ties with Armstrong and now a gym in his hometown have decided to remove themselves from his damaged image.

The gym, which was previously named '24 Hour Fitness/Lance Armstrong Sport', released a statement via KVUE.com, which said: "Given the evidence surrounding Lance Armstrong's alleged actions [our] business relationship with Armstrong no longer aligns with [the] company's mission and values."

Armstrong has also been banned from cycling competitively for life.
