Maria Sharapova and Serena Williams celebrate 40 years of the Women's Tennis Association despite their public spat.

Tennis stars Maria Sharapova and Serena Williams put their recent public spat aside to celebrate 40 years of the Women's Tennis Association.

The pair made digs at one another's personal lives after Williams claimed that Sharapova was "boring".

Despite the controversy, the pair were photographed together at the '40 Love' party with a number of their fellow tennis pros and legend Billie Jean King.

While Williams is still on course to retain her Wimbledon title, Sharapova was sent out of the contest in the second round.
