Welsh rugby club ban 74-year-old woman over bad behaviour

Welsh rugby club Pyle RFC ban 74-year-old fan Lillian Mort from attending matches for three months.

Welsh rugby club Pyle RFC have banned a 74-year-old woman from attending matches for three months.

Lillian Mort was kicked out of the club for allegedly ranting at committee members when she wasn't permitted to use beer tokens that her grandson David Pound, who plays for the club, gave her.

"I feel terrible," Mort told The Sun. "I've been going to watch games since I was in my 30s. I am a loyal fan, probably the oldest they've got and they've kicked me into touch.

"The committee think they have got the better of me but I am not going to leave it there. I watch through the fencing, I feel like I'm in jail."

The club was previously fined £50 after the elderly woman abused a referee during a match.
