Paralympic champion Oscar Pistorius has denied discharging a gun through a sunroof of a car, telling the High Court in Pretoria that it "never happened".
The 27-year-old is accused of murdering girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp by shooting her through a bathroom door at his home in the early hours of Valentine's Day last year.
In a separate incident in 2012, Pistorius's ex-girlfriend Samantha Taylor told the court last month that the athlete fired a shot out of a sunroof after an exchange with the police.
Pistorius claimed at the witness stand that the vehicle, which did not have a registration plate on the front, that he, Ms Taylor and friend Darren Fresco were travelling in at the time was stopped by police.
He admitted that he was "angry" that one of the police officers handled his firearm, but has insisted that he did not fire any shots out of the sunroof following the incident.
Earlier in his testimony, Pistorius revealed that he was "besotted" with Steenkamp, whom he denies murdering by maintaining that he mistook the South African model for an intruder when he fired the gunshots.
