Radio host Colin Murray has admitted his regrets in joking about turning lesbian television presenter Clare Balding straight.
During his Fighting Talk show on BBC Radio Five Live earlier this summer, the former Match of the Day host said: "Give me 20 minutes with her and I'm pretty sure I could turn around Clare Balding."
Murray apologised for his comment and has since said, according to the Belfast Telegraph: "The minute I said it, the second I said it, you know as a presenter, everyone on the team knew, that was over the line. It was just too much."
The 36-year-old has now joined the talkSPORT team after leaving the BBC last month.
