Former Bolton Wanderers midfielder Fabrice Muamba will reportedly welcome a second child into his family this summer.
The 24-year-old, who retired from football after suffering a cardiac arrest on the pitch last season, is understood to be "thrilled" at discovering the news of his wife Shauna's pregnancy.
"The baby is due in June," said a friend, according to The Sun. "They would have been thrilled anyway but given what happened to Fabrice last year, they feel even more blessed and lucky. Both were looking forward to 2013 but this makes it more special."
Muamba, whose heart stopped beating for 78 minutes, already has four-year-old son Josh with Shauna.
