American wrestler Hulk Hogan has been tricked by Twitter users into retweeting photos of Premier League footballers.
The 61-year-old was dropped by WWE last week after he was heard making racial slurs via an audio recording that was leaked to the press.
After the incident came to light, some Twitter users took advantage by using pictures of Premier League footballers, including Romelu Lukaku, Danny Welbeck, Jack Wilshere and Kolo Toure, alongside messages of support.
It appears as though Hogan's football knowledge is minimal as he retweeted a number of the pictures, as well as one including ex-Manchester United star Rio Ferdinand and Canadian rapper Drake, which carried the message: "Everybody says stuff from time to time, don't forget, me and my dad will always have your back brother."
Ferdinand heard about the pranks, but managed to see the funny side of being named as 28-year-old Drake's father.
The retired footballer tweeted: "Hahahaha I just see the @HulkHogan re - tweet fest, desperado who said I look like @Drake dad??? Could have been worse I guess!!"
