Paul Gascoigne, Michael Owen to appear on I'm A Celeb

Former troubled footballer Paul Gascoigne is one of the stars tipped to feature on the 2013 edition of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here.

Former footballers Paul Gascoigne and Michael Owen have been named on the lineup to appear on the 2013 edition of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here.

Six-time snooker world champion Steve Davis and Olympic 400m hurdles gold medallist Sally Gunnell are other stars of the sporting world who have agreed to be on the ITV programme.

Gascoigne, whose troubles have been well documented, retired from football in 2004, after a career which started at Newcastle United and included spells at Tottenham Hotspur, Lazio, Rangers, Middlesbrough and Everton.

The 46-year-old has recently spent time in a US clinic for alcohol issues.

Meanwhile, Owen, 33, retired from football last year after one season with Stoke City.

During his time in the sport, he played for Liverpool, Real Madrid and Manchester United - winning the Premier League, the FA Cup, three League Cups, a UEFA Cup and a Ballon d'Or in 2001.
