The fiancee of Tour de France winner Chris Froome has reportedly criticised Sir Bradley Wiggins for failing to congratulate his Team Sky teammate on the victory in Paris.
Froome took the crown from Wiggins, who became the first Briton to win the elite race last year, but the recently-knighted cyclist is believed to have refrained from sending his congratulations.
When asked by The Sun if it was significant that Wiggins had not been in contact, Froome's fiancee Cound said: "Yes. They should have."
Cound is also believed to have claimed that it was "fair to say" that Wiggins's camp should "have been a bit more classy and sent a message of congratulations."
Wiggins was unable to defend his Tour de France title this year due to illness and injury.
