Carl Fogarty helps win letters from home for 'I'm A Celeb' campmates

Four-time World Superbike champion Carl Fogarty helps win an I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here spelling bee to award his campmates with letters from home.

Four-time World Superbike champion Carl Fogarty helped win a spelling challenge to allow his I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here campmates to receive letters from home in the Australian jungle.

The 49-year-old joined former The X Factor singer Jake Quickenden for the 'Dingo Dollar Challenge - Spelling Bee', which required the duo to search for letters and spell out the correct word while dressed as bees.

The pair were shown pictures of what they needed to spell, but if they got it wrong, both campmates would receive an electric shock.

Prior to the challenge, Fogarty said: "This might be quite difficult because I think we're going to be hopeless at spelling. This is so embarrassing."

The first word that they were asked to spell was koala, but could only get it right on the second attempt as they trudged through gunk.

Eventually, the duo won the challenge and chose to give their fellow campmates Kendra Wilkinson and Vicki Michelle letters from their loved ones as opposed to choc ices, which were also available.

The action will be shown in tonight's episode on ITV at 8.30pm.
