Former National Rugby League player Ryan Tandy is reportedly found dead at the age of 32 from a drug overdose.

Former National Rugby League player Ryan Tandy has reportedly died at the age of 32 from an apparent drug overdose.

Reports have claimed that police were called to the Central Coast home of Tandy's family at around 2pm after his body was found.

According to The Sydney Morning Herald, the death of the sportsman, who is said to have been found by his mother, is not being treated as suspicious.

Tandy, who was banned for life from the NRL after he was found guilty of match fixing in 2010, was charged with alleged kidnapping in relation to a supposed drug debt back in January.
