Olympic diver Tom Daley has been backed to marry and have children with rumoured partner Dustin Lance Black as the Oscar-winning director does not want to be an "old dad".
A blog post attributed to British filmmaker Duncan Roy, who is believed to be living near the screenwriter in Los Angeles, has suggested that the couple could move things swiftly forward in their romance.
Earlier this month, Daley announced via a YouTube video that he has been in a relationship with a man since spring this year, but decided to keep his partner's identity quiet.
According to The Mirror, Roy wrote: "It seems that Lance may have found in Tom Daley a young man he can marry who shares his desire for an immediate family.
"Let's wish him all the best and that child-birth comes quickly, he doesn't want to be an old dad, too old to play football with his young child."
Nineteen-year-old Daley is 20 years younger than his rumoured other half.
