BT Sport announce NBA deal

BT Sport announce that they have agreed a multi-year partnership with the NBA to screen over 200 games each season in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

A multi-year deal has been struck between BT Sport and the NBA to screen over 200 games each season in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

The deal, which begins this Sunday, will see action screened across BT Sport 1, BT Sport 2 and ESPN, while selected fixtures will be streamed on the BT Sport website and the BT Sport App.

Head of BT Sport Simon Green said: "BT Sport will be the new home of the NBA in the UK and Ireland. The NBA is simply the best basketball in the world; it is fast moving, high scoring and includes some the world's most recognisable global sporting icons.

"Existing NBA fans will love our coverage, and we look forward to converting many more."

The first match to feature on the channel will be the Eastern Conference match between the Indiana Pacers and the LA Clippers on Sunday evening.
