Boxing great Muhammad Ali is released from hospital following a urinary tract infection.

Boxing great Muhammad Ali has been released from hospital following an illness.

The 72-year-old was taken to an undisclosed medical facility last month to be treated for what was thought to be pneumonia.

However, it was later determined that the former heavyweight champion was suffering from a urinary tract infection.

Ali has been battling against Parkinson's Disease after being diagnosed with the illness back in 1984.
