Newcastle United shirt thrown into Jamie Vardy's garden

A Newcastle United fan seemingly attempts to woo Leicester striker Jamie Vardy by throwing a Magpies shirt into his back garden.

A Newcastle United fan has thrown a club shirt into the back garden of Leicester City frontman Jamie Vardy in an apparent attempt to woo him to the North-East.

The 28-year-old has been in phenomenal form for the Foxes this term, scoring 15 times so far to help them to second in the Premier League, while Steve McClaren's side are struggling at the other end of the table and are two points from safety.

In a post on Twitter, Vardy's fiancee Becky Nicholson posted a picture of the shirt after discovering it on her bush, accompanying it with the hashtag "banter".

The Magpies shirt is just the latest addition to Vardy's home after it was revealed that he has erected his own name in lights on the wall of his games room.
