Newcastle United are determined to make their new French signings feel at home by temporarily re-decorating the club's canteen.
The North-East side raided the French league by signing Mathieu Debuchy, Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa, Yoan Gouffran, Moussa Sissoko and Massadio Haidara in the January transfer window.
Magpies striker Sammy Ameobi posted a photo on Twitter of the club's canteen with France national flags draped on the walls and a caption which read: "We're really making an effort to impress the new guys."
The 20-year-old later tweeted: "Even did a French v rest of the world in training this morning...we smashed them 5-0 #thatsawkward"
Meanwhile, Newcastle are currently four points clear of the relegation zone in the Premier League table.
