Fund set up for Jerry Collins's daughter

A fundraising page is collecting donation to provide a trust for the daughter of New Zealand international Jerry Collins, who recently died in a car crash.

An appeal has raised over NZ$25,000 for the daughter of former New Zealand international Jerry Collins.

The All Blacks star and his fiancee were killed in a car crash in Paris last week, while three-month old Ayla remains in hospital after sustaining injuries in the collision.

The Give A Little page was set up over the weekend, aiming to raise NZ£25,000 (£11,600) to provide "a trust for Ayla for whatever she might need in life as she grows up."

By 5pm UK time on June 8, the page had already raised NZ$25,548.42 from 476 donations.
