A Formula 1 fan got Lewis Hamilton's autograph tattooed onto his arm after meeting the Mercedes driver at Silverstone following the champion's British Grand Prix triumph on Sunday.
Wayne Adlington promised Hamilton that he would transform his signature into a tattoo, and the F1 fan tweeted a photo to Mercedes's official page to confirm just that.
Alongside the image of the artwork, Mr Adlington wrote: "@MercedesAMGF1 @LewisHamilton as promised when you signed my arm on Sunday, it's now a tattoo. thank you Lewis.."
Mercedes responded with the message: "Wow, Wayne that's incredible! That day and that moment will always be with you now..."
Reigning F1 champion Hamilton has a 17-point lead over teammate Nico Rosberg in the drivers' rankings following last weekend's win on home soil.
