Manchester United's Louis van Gaal, Wayne Rooney meet fans on 'Dream Day'

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal joins skipper Wayne Rooney and his players to meet supporters at the club's 'Dream Day' event.

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal and captain Wayne Rooney took part in a special meet-and-greet with some of the club's fans this week.

Numerous first-team stars, including goalkeeper David de Gea, greeted supporters at the Premier League outfit's 'Dream Day', which is organised by the Manchester United Foundation.

The players, as well as Van Gaal, happily posed for photographs and signed various memorabilia fresh off the Red Devils' 1-0 defeat to Chelsea on Saturday.

Rooney, who sits third in the Premier League table alongside his teammates, posted pictures of the event to his Instagram page.

Had a great time today meeting our fans at the @manchesterunitedfoundation Dream Day #MUdreamday
