Prince William has vowed to take his son George to Villa Park to watch Aston Villa "thrash" Manchester United.

The Duke of Cambridge has promised that his three-month old son, who was christened last week, will grow up supporting his father's team.

"When Villa thrash Man U at Villa Park, my son will be there," the Daily Star quotes Prince William as saying.

The 31-year-old is president of the Football Association, which celebrated 150 years on Saturday.
