Gary Neville has "no interest" in playing football anymore

Gary Neville admits that he has "no interest" in playing football anymore, as he much prefers doing his punditry work.

Former Manchester United full-back Gary Neville has admitted that he has "no interest" in playing football anymore.

The 39-year-old, who retired from the sport in February 2011, now works as a Sky pundit alongside former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher.

"I don't play football," Neville told the Manchester Evening News. "I've no interest in playing football at all. If you said to me tomorrow would you kick about, I wouldn't want it.

"And that's strange for someone who has lived his life kicking footballs hundreds of times a day but I don't want to do that. I'd rather be in a suit, either watching the game or having meetings."

Neville also works as a coach with the England national senior team.
