A number of inspirational football quotes delivered by numerous figures within the game have been gathered together in a new book called The Beautiful Game: A Football Inspiration.
The book, written by Rory Callan, features words from former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson, Everton boss Roberto Martinez and ex-United captain Roy Keane, among others.
Specific quotes include Ferguson saying: "Never give up, the time to give up is when you're dead."
Legendary former Liverpool manager Bill Shankly also appears in the book with the line: "Courage is a word that should hang above your bed if you want to be a professional footballer".
The book is released on Thursday.
