Floodlight failure interrupts Fulham vs. Manchester United

Fulham's Premier League match with Manchester United is temporarily suspended following floodlight failure in the 42nd minute.

Play was temporarily suspended at Craven Cottage after a floodlight failure interrupted Fulham's match against Manchester United this evening.

The lights went off in the 42nd minute of the match with the sides drawing 0-0.

Referee Kevin Friend led the teams off the park during the stoppage, eventually bringing them back on when the floodlights were restored to full brightness.

It is the second time that United have been plunged into darkness during a match this season, having also fallen foul to floodlight failure in their away match against Braga in the Champions League.
