Coleen Rooney opens up about Wayne Rooney's "stupid" past

Coleen opens up about husband Wayne Rooney's "stupid" past when the Manchester United captain was alleged to have cheated on her.

The wife of Manchester United and England captain Wayne Rooney has opened up about her husband's "stupid" past.

The striker is alleged to have cheated on Coleen a few times during their relationship, once with prostitutes and another in a threesome when she was pregnant with their first child Kai, who is now five years old.

While Rooney has not commented on the allegations over the years, Coleen admitted that she was 'angry and upset' by his behaviour during BBC documentary Wayne Rooney: Man Behind The Goals.

"He was young and he done some stupid things, like most young lads, but obviously Wayne is Wayne Rooney so he got a lot of press over it so everyone got to find out what he was doing and when he was doing it," Coleen said in an interview with Gary Lineker.

"There are things, petty things, that make me angry, that he does, and I think why do it because you know it's going to blow up. It's part of growing up in the public eye and there are some things you do and never do again."

The couple, who have been married since 2008, are parents to sons Kai and Klay, two, and are expecting a third baby early next year.
