Former Manchester United midfielder Nicky Butt has revealed that he had to "chat up" a mop during his initiation.

The 38-year-old has admitted that the players were put through a number of embarrassing tasks during their younger years in the game.

"There was quite a few, we had to do all sorts - chat up the mops, chat up the calendar, do a disco dance in the changing rooms, but it was all good fun and something that we all enjoyed," Butt told FullTimeDEVILS.

The former player was speaking at the premiere of new documentary The Class of '92, which focuses on United's famous graduates Butt, David Beckham, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, and brothers Phil and Gary Neville.
