Manchester City midfielder Leroy Sane gets tattoo of himself celebrating a goal

Manchester City midfielder Leroy Sane gets a full-spine tattoo apparently showing him celebrating a goal against AS Monaco last season - a tie City would go on to lose.

Leroy Sane has showed off a new tattoo on his back, apparently showing him celebrating a goal for Manchester City against AS Monaco in the Champions League last season.

The full-spine inking was spotted on the Citizens' Snapchat account when the Germany international tried out the club's new maroon away kit.

According to the Daily Mail, Sane started work on the tattoo during the tail end of the 2016-17 campaign and had it completed during the off-season.

Sane can be seen celebrating at the Etihad Stadium with his arms stretched out, thought to be in tribute to the goal he scored against Monaco in a 5-3 first-leg thriller last term, though City would later lose the last-16 tie on away goals.

Sane has yet to feature for Manchester City during pre-season after undergoing an operation on his nose earlier this summer.
