Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany has joined forces with producer Klaas Gaublomme to form a record label.
Kompany has yet to name the new venture, which he will run from Manchester in an effort to discover young talent.
Gaublome revealed that the Belgian international recently concluded a deal to sign two acts on a trip to Antwerp.
He told The Sun: "Vincent has made it all the way from being a street footballer to the very highest level.
"So he is the ideal person to accompany young musical talent with his knowledge and experience. The idea of him having a record label came up during one of our trips to the Congo, where Vincent works as an ambassador for the SOS Children's Villages charity.
"Vincent will principally stay in Manchester and identify new acts from there."
The City skipper will lead his side out on Sunday when they face bitter rivals Manchester United at the Etihad.
