Former heavyweight boxer Mike Tyson believes that Liverpool striker Luis Suarez can "make amends" after biting Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic.
The 46-year-old started following the Uruguay international on Twitter after the striker bit the arm of Ivanovic during a 2-2 draw with the Blues at Anfield on Sunday.
Despite the furore surrounding Suarez, Tyson believes that he can overcome this latest incident in a similar way that the boxer recovered from biting the ear of Evander Holyfield while in the ring in 1997.
"[Suarez] bit someone, it happens," Tyson told the David Glenn radio show, according to The Mirror. "I am sure he will make amends with this guy. I made amends with Evander and we got on with our lives."
"I saw this [Suarez] on the Twitter thing and thought I would check it out and see what his journey was all about."
Suarez is expected to be given a lengthy match-ban by the Football Association this week.
