Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli was reportedly recently given the green light by Luis Suarez to wear the Uruguayan's old shin pads.
The Italy international is believed to have spotted the pads at the club's Melwood training ground as they had been left behind by Suarez during his £75m summer move to Barcelona.
According to The People, Balotelli phoned to ask permission to wear the shin pads and Suarez was happy to give his fellow striker the go-ahead.
Balotelli, who cost Liverpool £16m from AC Milan last summer, has scored four goals in 23 appearances for the Reds.
