Michael Owen's position as co-commentator on BT Sport has attracted plenty of opinions from football fans so far this season.

One particular viewer decided to send a sarcastic tweet to the retired footballer, claiming that Owen's commentary was the only "highlight" of the FA Cup match between Manchester United and Swansea City on Sunday.

Owen appeared to take the message literally and thanked Twitter user Chris Lindsay, who replied by admitting that he was "taking the piss".
