Two Everton supporters have reportedly claimed that they pretended to be disabled in order to get seats at the Britannia Stadium for last week's Premier League match against Stoke City.
One of the fans in question is said to have uploaded a photo onto Facebook over the weekend showing a man in a wheelchair watching the game, which ended 2-0 to Stoke.
Alongside the image, a message read: "Me and my mate decided to go Stoke away last minute on Wednesday. The only spare ticket we could get was in the disabled selection, so he borrowed a wheelchair from work and I went as his carer. We're scum, aren't we?"
Stoke City have been alerted to the post, and a spokesperson told The Metro: "We have been made aware of the claims. If their claims prove to be correct and people can be identified, it will be for Everton to take action."
The result was Everton's fifth consecutive game without a win.
