England assistant coach Gary Neville has been accused of being involved in a "four-letter exchange" with a TV cameraman, hours after the squad arrived in Brazil to prepare for the start of the World Cup.

According to O Globo, the ex-Manchester United defender and Sky Sports pundit told the cameraman to "fuck off" while he was with coaching staff on a walk near the Three Lions base in Rio de Janeiro.

However, The Mirror suggests that the person in question had been shadowing the England number two closely for around an hour, and those close to the 39-year-old indicate that he had shown restraint throughout.

England touched down in Rio hours after drawing their final warm-up game with Honduras in Miami.
