Former England cricket captain Andrew Strauss will reportedly join the Sky Sports punditry team for this year's Ashes Tests.

Former England cricket captain Andrew Strauss has reportedly signed up to become a new member of the Sky Sports team for their coverage of the Ashes Tests.

The 36-year-old has been out of the limelight since he retired from all forms of the game last August, but he is expected to return to screens this summer.

Strauss will line up alongside former Australia international Shane Warne in the studio and will also act as pundit for this winter's reverse Ashes series, but has not signed on full-time, according to the Daily Mail.

Reports have claimed that no members of the Sky team will make way for Strauss's arrival.
