The wife of Leicester City footballer Jamie Vardy has claimed that she was "tear gassed" in the build-up to watching England take on Russia at Euro 2016 on Saturday night.
Over the last 24 hours, there have been a number of disturbances in Marseille involving English and Russian supporters, with the French police reportedly struggling to gain order.
Rebekah Vardy, who is married to Leicester star Jamie Vardy, has taken to Twitter to air her displeasure at the events that unfolded before England played out a 1-1 draw with Russia in Group B.
That has to be up there with the worst experience EVER at an away game! Teargassed for no reason, caged and treated like animals! Shocking!

I witnessed this with my own eyes! I can't comment on things I didn't see but what I got caught up in was horrific and uncalled for!

And this happened before the game even kicked off!
