Ebbsfleet United player accuses sex attack victim of 'leading him on'

Ebbsfleet United defender Patrick Ada tells a court that he "forced" a woman to perform a sex act on him because she 'led him on'.

Ebbsfleet United defender Patrick Ada has accused the victim that he is alleged to have forced to perform oral sex on him of 'leading him on', a court has heard.

The 27-year-old, who is on trial at Woolwich Crown Court, is alleged to have forced a 25-year-old female to perform a sex act on him after drinking vodka with her and a friend.

The court heard that the former Burton Albion player later sent a text message to the victim saying, "Sorry, I was drunk," as well as calling her friend and claiming, "Sorry I forced her, she led me on."

Ada, who committed the alleged incident in March, denies rape.
