Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho stormed out of a pre-match interview on Saturday after being quizzed over the transfer saga involving Everton defender John Stones.
The 21-year-old ended up staying at Goodison Park despite interest from the Blues, who are thought to have had up to four bids knocked back by the Toffees.
Prior to the Premier League champions' 3-1 defeat at Everton yesterday, BT Sport interviewer Ray Stubbs asked the Portuguese: "Everton fans will remind you today that you couldn't sign John Stones but do you think that creates an extra dimension?"
Mourinho, whose side had lost two of their first four games at the time, responded: "Before the game, this is too long. I'm sorry, this is too long."
Chelsea, who have now conceded 12 times in five outings, are rumoured to have gone as high as £37m to prise Stones away from Merseyside.
Mourinho's side, who sit 17th in the table, face Arsenal at Stamford Bridge next Saturday.
