FIFA has confirmed that it has launched a fresh investigation into Chelsea's youth transfer policy.
The Blues have now been investigated three times in eight years over their signing of players under the age of 18, having previously been probed about their deals for Gael Kakuta and Bertrand Traore.
Under current rules, clubs are only permitted to sign foreign players under the age of 18 if the player moves country for non-footballing reasons, or if they live within 50km of an international border.
In a statement today, the Blues said: "Chelsea FC complies with all FIFA statutes and regulations when recruiting players."
FIFA has been aggressive in its pursuit of youth transfer rule breaches in recent years, with Atletico Madrid's current transfer ban a result of the club signing underage players outside of the regulations.
