Prime minister David Cameron has revealed that he failed to convince his son Arthur to support his team Aston Villa.
The politician hoped that the youngster would pick the Midlands side or their local team Queens Park Rangers when he took his son to a match at Loftus Road.
According to ITV News, during a discussion with workers at a Rolls Royce plant in West Sussex, Cameron said: "My son went the wrong way - I took him to a QPR vs. Villa game because QPR is my local team in London, I thought he would either become a Hoops fan or a Villa fan.
"It was a bit of a disappointing game and he said 'Dad, those teams are obviously not right for me, I am going to be a Chelsea fan'."
The British prime minister also revealed that when he was spotted at a match between Villa and Chelsea, a large section of Blues fans sang, "Cameron, Cameron, give us a song".
