Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich reportedly plans to resume redevelopment work on the club's Stamford Bridge home.
The Blues were forced to deny reports at the weekend that the Russian billionaire is looking to sell the West London outfit in the near future.
According to the Daily Mail, Abramovich remains fully committed to Chelsea and will push ahead with £500m plans to modernise the home ground.
Abramovich shelved the project, which will see Stamford Bridge's attendance rise to 60,000, in May because of the "unfavourable investment climate".
The report indicates that club insiders are confident the owner will deliver on his vision, however, although a start date for work to begin has still not been set.
