Campaign group Kick It Out says it will support a potential investigation into alleged homophobic chanting by Nottingham Forest fans during the FA Cup tie with Chelsea.
Forest supporters reportedly taunted home fans at Stamford Bridge during Saturday's third round match.
Information has been passed on to the Football Association following the game, which the London club won 2-0.
"We've received reports of alleged homophobic chanting by Nottingham Forest supporters at Chelsea during the FA Cup fixture," Kick It Out said in a statement.
"We have passed those onto the FA and offered our support in any possible investigation."
A Chelsea supporter was fined £965 and banned from football for three years after being found guilty of homophobic chants at last month's game at Brighton.
Press Association Sport has approached Nottingham Forest for comment.
