Cambridge United to buy toilets with money from Manchester United FA Cup replay

Cambridge United chairman Dave Doggett reveals that the League Two club will spend the money that they make from their FA Cup replay with Manchester United on toilets.

Cambridge United chairman Dave Doggett has revealed that the club will invest in new toilets with the money that they make from their FA Cup fourth-round replay against Manchester United.

The League Two side managed to force through a fixture at Old Trafford after holding Louis van Gaal's side to a goalless draw at the Abbey Stadium last Friday.

The club are expected to rake in £1.5m from an accumulation of gate receipts and television revenue.

"Hopefully we can get the stadium done and start putting in some proper toilets," ITV News quotes Doggett as saying. "Some toilets and tea bars and more hospitality - that's what we will do."

Cambridge are currently 13th in the League Two table.
