Bayern Munich star Franck Ribery was targeted by a pitch invader on Wednesday night, who hit him with a scarf during their German Cup match against Hamburger SV.
The Frenchman, who was booed by Hamburg fans during the match, was hit after the supporter ran the width of the field towards him, but was then removed from the pitch by security guards.
"Fortunately, nothing much happened," the Daily Mail quotes Ribery as saying. "It was a difficult situation, I didn't see him coming."
Ribery scored in the contest, which Bayern won 3-1.
