Reports in Spain have suggested that Barcelona used a detective agency to spy on centre-back Gerard Pique.
It has been reported by Mundo Deportivo that the Catalan club followed the 26-year-old to casinos, where he would sometimes spend up to €4,000 (£3,500) per visit.
According to the newspaper, Blaugrana had the agency follow Pique for over a year and monitored his phone calls and bank account transactions.
Pique returned to Camp Nou in 2008 after four years at Manchester United.
