Barcelona figures past and present paid tribute to Tito Vilanova at the former manager's funeral today.

The whole first-team squad was present at the ceremony of Vilanova, who passed away at the age of 45 on Friday following a battle with throat cancer.

A number of former presidents, including Joan Laporta and Sandro Rosell, were also at the funeral alongside board members and Vilanova's wife and two children.

"Today we say goodbye to a very loved person. I promise you, he will always have a place in our hearts and we will never forget him," said current club president Josep Maria Bartomeu.

Vilanova guided Barcelona to a record-equalling haul of points as they won La Liga in his only season in charge, while he also assisted Pep Guardiola during the most decorated period in the club's history.
