Torino's Alessio Cerci claims Twitter account hacked after Atletico Madrid tweet

Torino's Alessio Cerci reveals that he is taking legal action after his Twitter account was hacked and a tweet claiming that he is joining Atletico Madrid was posted.

Torino forward Alessio Cerci has revealed that he will be taking legal action after a tweet was sent from his account claiming that he is joining Atletico Madrid.

The 27-year-old has claimed that his account was hacked because there is no truth in the message that he is signing for the Spanish champions this summer.

"I absolutely didn't send the message, I was playing the PlayStation with my teammates," 101greatgoals.com quotes Cerci as saying. "Someone must have gone onto my account.

"Now I will take action because it absolutely wasn't me. I received so many telephone calls and I didn't know what was going on. I don't know what to say.

"Now we will see who it was. You can talk about the transfer window, but I never wrote anything of that sort. It wasn't even me who deleted it! Now I will go down the legal route and see who it was."

The winger joined Torino from Fiorentina in 2012.
