The Segunda Division match between Huesca and Albacete has been postponed following an accident involving Albacete midfielder Pelayo Novo at the team's hotel.
Reports in the Spanish media have claimed that the 27-year-old fell from a third-floor window at the Abba Huesca Hotel in the northeastern city.
According to Marca, teammates Ruben Mino and Susaeta were the first on the scene, Pelayo having allegedly landed on an interior patio, before medical assistance arrived.
Peyalo was then taken to hospital in Zaragoza where the club say that he is in a stable condition.
Albacete have issued a statement which said: "Our player, Pelayo Novo, suffered a terrible accident in the morning at the team's hotel.
"Our player, who is stable, has been transferred to the hospital of Zaragoza. At all times, he is being accompanied by the club's medical staff.
"The Albacete Balompie in turn wants to thank SD Huesca for their closeness, interest and willingness to help, as well as the League, other clubs, institutions and other sports organisations that have been interested in the state of our footballer."
Pelayo has been at Albacete since 2017, and was previously on the books of CFR Cluj, Elche and Oviedo.
